 The Empire Music Hall presents an event to celebrate LOVE this Valentines!

Join us for a Western Swing event with Jefferson Justice and special guest Scott Joss joining them on the fiddle, best known for playing with Merle Haggard's The Strangers and Dwight Yoakam!

Included in the ticket price and in addition to the fantastic Western Swing, is a drink for each attendee of The Rex Menu, plus a special Tasting Menu by Chef Rob sure to impress. A selection of passed appetizers, including chicken piccata, roast vegetable antipasti, Chef Rob’s famous Mac and cheese laced with truffle oil, BLT in phyllo with aged cheddar, grilled stuffed mushrooms and much more, plus a tabled assortment of decadent desserts.

Born in Chicago raised in WI, comedian Rio Hillman arrived on the comedy scene over a decade ago.  With his Midwestern charm & like ability he brings the audience into his world punchline by punchline.  He believes that subtlety and timing are key principal


 Aurora Singh has had the opportunity to perform at the Punchline in  Sacramento doing feature sets and showcases and has performed multiple  times at the Reno/ Tahoe Comedy club in Reno, NV. Her style of comedy is  “real” and “relate-able” meaning "I like to take real situations, good  and bad, and laugh at them. There is nothing funnier than life itself  and the things people find themselves getting into! It’s a messy and  confusing life, so let’s laugh about it!"

The Little Shop of Horrors

4th Thursday Film Night at The Empire

 When the clumsy Seymour Krelboyne spoils two flowers of a client,  the owner of a small florist shop Gravis Mushnick is ready to fire him.  However Seymour tells that he has mixed two plants of different breeds  at home and created a hybrid named Audrey Jr. and Mushnick decides to  give another chance to his employee. On the next day, Seymour brings  Audrey Jr. that becomes the pride and joy of Mushnick, his other  employee Audrey Fulquard and clients. Out of the blue, the flower seems  to be dying and Seymour accidentally learns that she likes blood. One  day, Seymour is upset since he does not know how to feed the flower and  he walks along a railroad. When he throws a stone near a railroad track,  he accidentally hits the head of a man that falls on the track and is a  train runs over him. Seymour brings the pieces of the man to the shop  and finds that the plant likes flesh. On the next morning, Audrey Jr.  has grown and become the attraction of the shop. But how will Seymour  feed his plant ...
